Center of the Room

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

I sat at the center table in the break room at work yesterday, and I found myself glancing over my shoulder a lot. Our break room has a total of 8 entrances, so there is a seemingly endless stream of door hinges squeaking to draw my attention. It made me realize I’m not really comfortable being in the center of the room. It feels too much like being the center of attention with strangers. How do you feel to be in the center of a room? Do you find yourself comfortable hoping for people to pay attention to you? Or do you find yourself a bit more on edge? Write a poem that helps people see your point of view when in the center of a room.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
