Two Wrongs

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

Do you ever have moments where someone says something that hurts your feelings without meaning to, and you want to hurt them back? This happens to me occasionally and a good deal of the time I know exactly what to say to really hurt the other person. But I generally manage to hold back. When I can tell that they really don’t mean to be hurtful, I have to remind myself that two wrongs don’t make a right and all those other clichés meant to dissuade us from vengeance. Still, the temptation is there. Write a poem that explores the temptation but not the act of petty revenge like the kind I’ve mentioned.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
