Dimming The Lights

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

In the world of film dimming the lights is a great way to set the mood of a scene. They have the added benefit of the musical score as well as other tricks to entice the senses. But as poets we only have our words and the hope that they will stimulate the imagination enough to stir our readers senses. Write a poem that uses the description of dimmed lighting to set a mood. Are you going for a sorrowful poem that feels more poignant in dim lighting? Or will you be bringing an intimate fantasy to your dimly lit poem?  What other ways can you think to use the description of dim lighting to set the mood BTs?
