Hello Beautiful Thinkers,
The concrete poem uses creative spacing and line breaks to write a poem that takes the shape of its subject when viewed on the page. For example, if you were writing a poem about your cat you may try to shape it to look like a cat or maybe the motion of a cat’s tail. In your attempts to make the desired shape don’t forget about the actual content of the poem. I recommend deciding on the subject and writing the poem first and experimenting with your line breaks to form the shape afterwards.
