Poetic Forms: The Cinquain

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

The cinquain is a five-line poem with a syllable count rinsing by two for the first four lines and dropping back down for the last. Your syllables should be 2, 4, 6, 8, 2. That’s not a lot of space to get your point across. But I’m sure that you’re all up to the challenge. Give this five-line poem a try and see what creativity its syllable count sparks in you.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
