The Midnight Deadline

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

So my new work has a rule that they won’t save your lunchbox if you forget it there overnight. It’s quite an annoying rule for someone as forgetful as me. As you can probably guess, I forgot the my lunchbox yesterday. I didn’t realize that I’d forgotten it until I arrived home from dinner with a friend just after 11 pm. This lead to me racing back towards work in the hopes that they don’t throw all the lunch boxes out at exactly midnight. (Probably a ridiculous and dramatic assumption but I really like this lunchbox and didn’t want to chance it.) So take inspiration from my lunchbox adventure and write a poem about a midnight deadline. Is it a hard deadline that you had to make or is it an loose deadline that you could survive missing by a bit?

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
