Hello Beautiful Thinkers,
It’s no secret among my friends that I’m not a big fan of kids. If they’re related to me or someone I love then that’s one thing. But I’ve never been the person that said “Look how cute that baby is” or “Yeah I can’t wait to have kids.” This is just my personal feeling. I’m not launching an attack on those that want kids or saying that no one should have kids. But for some reason most people who have always seen kids being the set goal of their future always want to say “you’ll feel different when it’s your kid.” To which I respond I’m not having any. They immediately say “what if your soul mate wants them?” He isn’t my soul mate if he wants kids. I could continue this hypothetical conversation forever honestly. Because for those that are arguing the other side it seems unnatural that someone not want the same future that they want. Write a poem about something that you haven’t pictured for your own future. Is it something that most people do imagine in their future?
