Poetic Form: The Nonet

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

A nonet is a nine line poem that’s form is dependent on the syllable counts for each line. It’s pretty much a syllabic count down. It has 9 syllables in the first line, 8 syllables in the second line, 7 syllables in the third line, and so on counting down to one syllable in the final (ninth) line. There are no rules about rhyming or stanza breaks which leaves things open to your creative judgement as far as those things are concerned.
