Never Speak for Others

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

The first and last lines of “Dog Problems” by The Format are the same message with one or two words just a little different. “Don’t speak for someone you don’t know.” This is an extremely important message considering that we never know what’s going on in each others’ heads. We don’t know each others’ backgrounds. So making assumptions about people without this can lead to a lot of offensive, politically incorrect, or just plan ignorant situations. Today, write a scene where someone tries to speak for your character and is completely wrong. Does your character correct them or are they not worth the confrontation?

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
