The Patient Planner

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

I watched The Count of Monte Cristo again last night. It’s one of my favorite movies. It is a story of love, betrayal, and revenge. There is a scene that is there for comic relief where the protagonist’s loyal sidekick talks about taking out all of the people quickly and just enjoying the treasure. We always laugh at how it is said but of course the protagonist declines this plan. He’s been plotting his revenge for years in prison and even after that. The level of patience he shows in this moment and in general is just a little bit scary. Write about your character planning something out so in depth that he needs this kind of patience to make sure things go according to plan.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
