Sad Word Poetry

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

Write a poem about the saddest word or phrase you can think of. Almost and Maybe are two big ones for me. There is so much potential in them that isn’t quite seen through to the end. There is a lot of disappointment waiting in those words. Think past the words literal meaning.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades

You said sad word or phrase. ‘In a moment’ OR ‘Inside a moment’ is a sad phrase for me. I write poems and I’ve written a poem with that exact name. It’s on my blog. I would really appreciate it if you had a look at it.
There’s another too. That’s a sad poem too. Not entirely though. But have a look please. Thank you.

    • I checked it out and you definitely capture a sense of sadness and hopelessness there. Excellent job. I feel like that phrase “in a moment” or “inside a moment” could inspire a lot more too. And I’m sure that you have it in you. You should try writing a few more (maybe even a series of poems) about the different types of sadness or even the different emotions in general that can be captured by a moment.

Thank you so much for reading it. I have infact written about a lot of things. I will surely put them up. Thank you for the encouragement.

      • That’s awesome! Keep writing! I hope that my prompts help if you ever need it.
