Poetic Form: Bref Double

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

Time to grab that list of obsessions and apply it to another poetic form, the bref double. For those of you that have tried it out before you’ll remember that like a sonnet it has fourteen lines and follows a specific rhyme scheme. Unlike a sonnet though, the bref double doesn’t force the writer into a syllable count or any particular meter. It’s much more freedom. The only rule is to follow this rhyme scheme: AXBC, XAXC, BXXC, AB.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
