Poetic Form Challenge: The Triolet

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

Sticking to my Sunday trend I’ve got another poetic form for y’all to try out. The Triolet, pronounced tree-o-lay, has 13th century French roots linked to the rondeau or “round” poem. It’s perfect for those of you that love repetition and rhyming. Here’s a line by line break down of the form. Good luck BTs.

A (first line)
B (second line)
a (rhymes with first line)
A (repeat first line)
a (rhymes with first line)
b (rhymes with second line)
A (repeat first line)
B (repeat second line)

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
