Praise to the Ode Poem

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

The ode is today’s form poem; it is a poetic form written for flattery. There are three types of odes: the Horation; the Pindaric; and the Irregular. The Horation ode contains stanzas of either 2 or 4 lines in length. The Pindaric ode is made up of a pattern of three stanzas called triads. The first and the second stanzas should be identical metrically with the third stanza wandering off on its own metrical path. The irregular ode does away with formalities and focuses on the praising aspect of the ode. Find something you think is worthy of praise and write an ode about it.

Keep Dreaming Beautiful Thinkers,

The Boy In The Heart Shades
