Finally Got a Kindle!

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

01KINDLE_35437745_35438356_610x436I’m so excited to say that I am now a Kindle owner!  I know that in the past I’ve mentioned my preference for actual books over ebooks, but that doesn’t mean I have a pretentious and unfounded dislike for ebooks.  On the contrary I’ve always thought that the Kindle and other ereaders were great devices and I’m sure I’m not the only person that appreciates both methods of reading.  Really, the only reason I didn’t have an ereader up until this point was the money of it all.  They can be pricy items.  While I’m sure there is an argument to be made that avid readers actually spend less in the long run with the discounted price of ebooks, it’s that initial chunk of cash that you have to get together to buy the ereader that’s always stopped me.

121007064534-amazon-prime-resize-horizontal-galleryThere was always something else that I was saving towards but it seems that my loyalty as an amazon prime member has paid off with even more perks; they emailed me offering a $60 discount on any Kindle!  When you get down to it, that’s only $9 if you buy the cheapest one, which is exactly what I did.  How do you say no to a deal like that?  Rhetorical, you just don’t.  I can’t wait to indulge in all the perks of being a Kindle owner with an Amazon Prime membership.  They apparently let you borrow ebooks for free for as long as you’d like and have fantastic discounts.  In fact, I’m going to wrap up this post now and go explore all the fun features of my new ereader.  Maybe even give it a name.

Keep Learning Beautiful Thinkers,
