TBITHS eBay Wish List!!

Hello Beautiful Thinkers,

ebay-logo-02I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I am a shopaholic.  And that definitely counts online shopping; eBay and Amazon are two of my most visited sites.  And even though I spend a good portion of my free time on them, I found out something cool about eBay today.  They allow their users to make a wish list.  This doesn’t seem like such a big deal, I know a lot of sites allow a wish list.  But with eBay you can use it as a shopping list for your friends and family to look at when your birthday or any other holiday comes around.  Yep, Christmas shopping just got easier.

Wishlist1The lists have two options, public and private.  When on the private setting the only way anyone can see items on your wish list is if you choose to share with them via email or social media like Facebook.  But if you leave the list on public, anyone that knows your name, user ID, or email address can buy you something off that list.  For example, if you wanted to buy me a new pair of heart shades you could go on eBay’s wish list search, type TBITHS, and bam! there’s a link to a bunch of super cute heart shaped sunglasses that I’ve picked out. (This is of course an example, I’m not suggesting any of you buy me new shades unless you want to. *wink wink*)

80_s-_metal_heart_sunglasses_silver2You can change your wish list’s theme so that people that come to it know you’re celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or graduation.  There are a total of ten different themes available now, or you can choose to go themeless if you don’t have anything noteworthy going on at the moment.  My wish list is constantly set to the birthday theme because when it isn’t my birthday it’s my unbirthday, which is almost as good.  This feature of eBay is also good fun for those of you BTs that are looking for a day of window-shopping that can still be used in the future.  Fill that wish list up and then send it along to all your friends and let the presents roll in!  I’m going to go hunt down more heart shades for mine.
